Located in the emerging city of Malaga, the project is part of the Parque Martiricos regeneration plan, next to the Guadalmedina riverside, and represents the biggest change to the city's skyline of all time.

The project arose from a study of the best possible housing and hotel. Often residential towers are designed with such depth that the interior rooms end up being dark and the layout tortuous. In this case the floor plan is nothing more than a response to the best possible materialisation of the programme. This exercise led us to a branched building design whose volume emerged naturally.

The proposal is installed on the plot of C/ Méndez Álvaro 58, where an execution project was developed in 2007 for an office building.

Work began to be developed but the construction was stopped when the basement structure was built below ground, with the floor framing of ground floor included.

In this way, there are the determinants of a reinforced concrete structure under existing ground.

Just a few meters from the beach, the project combines a new Skyline for Torrevieja, with an easement of views for the city and minimizes the environmental impact of the project.

Someone defined “The Lord of the Rings” like a lightning bolt in the middle of a sunny, cloudless sky. Similar is the Torrevieja project. In a town with 5 level buildings, our towers, of almost 100 meters, rise as Ikarus, trying to touch the Levantine sun.

The bases from which our towers started were very restrictive, with a very constrained capable volume that hardly gave us freedom of movement. Under these circumstances, we chose to develop a very subtle narrowing of the tower on its upper floors and we were willing to make a game of artifice at the base that would create the illusion of the Towers emerging from the basement.
