Fundamental concepts and methodologies

Our approach is rooted in the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and unified data management to maximise efficiency, reduce errors and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration.

Unified Data Management

Our approach is centered on data consolidation to ensure seamless and efficient coordination at every stage of the project. This enables us to centralize information, minimize errors, and enhance collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Building Information Modeling (BIM)

BIM is a digital process that creates and manages detailed 3D models with integrated construction data. Digital twins are based on real-time data. They are used for various applications, including: Maintenance and Facility Management, Energy Optimization, Simulation and Analysis, and Enhancing User Experience. 

At MORPH, we use advanced technologies such as Revit and ArchiCAD to ensure traceability, design optimization, and improved project management.

Digital platform for the management of industrialised building components

DIGIN is a digital platform for the management of industrialised building components and elements. Due to the idiosyncrasy and tradition of the AEC sector, in the design and construction process mainly manufactured components are used, starting nowadays to incorporate industrialised systems in late stages of construction projects. In this context of industrial transformation in which the sector finds itself, the project is committed to digitalization as a means of transformation, accompanied by BIM methodology, to facilitate the incorporation of industrialised components from the earliest stages of design. This platform responds to the need to design information management tools for the elements, helping to implement data traceability from the design phases to the maintenance of the asset, thus improving cooperation of all the agents involved in the process.

This project has been supported by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, as well as the European Union through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and has received funding within the program to support Innovative Business Groups to contribute to improving the competitiveness of Spanish industry under the grant agreement no.AEI-010500-2022b-258, 2022-2023.

We harness the power of artificial intelligence with tools like ZEBAI and BIMBOT, alongside advanced methodologies such as automated measurements and computational design, redefining how projects are conceived and executed.

Automated Measurements

The working methodology enables the establishment of clear protocols for conducting project development, ensuring transparent traceability and accounting procedures.

The dashboards display how data is automatically computed and quantified.

Thanks to reports and monitoring, we can ensure that data is accurately quantified, while also monitoring project metrics to meet KPIs. All of this is done quickly and visually.

Computational Design

We utilize parametric design to control complex surfaces and ensure their execution. 

By employing advanced software and algorithms, we can explore a wide range of design possibilities. Consequently, we can accurately model and fabricate intricate forms that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. 


AI Integration in Architectural Design at MORPH

The integration of artificial intelligence into architectural design allows us to automate processes and generate advanced analyses, optimizing project performance and sustainability from the earliest stages. 

ZEBAI AI and BIMBOT AI are artificial intelligence tools designed for architectural design and BIM project management. These solutions optimize planning, analysis, and structural modeling by integrating complex processes in an automated and precise manner.

More about BIMBOT

BIMBOT is an intelligent design assistant for the AEC industry based on BIM software. It is supported by advanced artificial intelligence methods (soft computing optimization and machine learning) and NoSQL databases. A complete BIM project is obtained as a result of an iterative process: the user sets constraints and priorities by which BIMBOT creates different solutions refined from a catalogue of intelligent objects. Thus, users can create or edit BIM models being assisted by a set of configurable metrics that drive design quality according to their initial preferences.
